How to Find a Lift

  1. Go to Find Lift Offers.
  2. Enter your From/To areas or suburbs and choose your trip type (daily, one-time, night shift, cross-province).
  3. Set seats needed, budget, preferred driver gender, and days/times.
  4. Review matching results, sort if needed, and open a card to view details.
  5. Contact the driver via call, WhatsApp, or email to arrange the lift.

Tip: Use specific neighborhoods or landmarks and keep your time window flexible for more matches.

Creating a Lift Request

  1. Go to Request Lifts.
  2. Fill in your route, dates/times, seats needed, budget, and how you want to be contacted.
  3. Submit your request. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a secure management link.
  4. Use your link to edit, deactivate (hide), or delete your request anytime.

Note: Requests automatically expire and are deleted after 90 days.

Reporting Safety Concerns

  1. Visit our Facebook group.
  2. Search the group before traveling to check for existing reports.
  3. When posting, include clear evidence (screenshots/photos/receipts) and a factual description.
  4. Disputes can be addressed via comments/admins or email communications@mail.findaliftclub.co.za.

Admins review posts for compliance. In emergencies, contact local authorities immediately.

How to Share a Lift

  1. Go to Share Lifts.
  2. Enter your route, schedule/days, seats available, price per seat, and contact preferences.
  3. Submit your offer. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a secure management link.
  4. Your offer becomes discoverable on Find Lift Offers.

Tip: Clear schedules, fair pricing, and complete contact info increase responses.

Managing Your Offers

  1. Open your secure link from the email (token-based link) to manage your offer.
  2. Edit details (route, times, seats, price, contact info) as needed.
  3. Use deactivate to hide your offer without deleting it.
  4. Use delete to remove your offer permanently when done.

Note: Offers automatically expire and are deleted after 60 days.

Finding Passenger Requests

  1. Visit View Lift Requests.
  2. Filter by route, days/times, seats needed, and trip type to find matches.
  3. Open a request card to view details and contact the passenger directly.

Tip: Check frequently during peak times (weekday mornings/evenings) for new requests.
